One of the ultimate baseball cards, this is a true Babe Ruth Rookie Card. Admittedly in rough condition, this card was purchased from us in the late 1990s and was freshly slabbed at the National Convention this year. The condition issues are typical for low grade cards from this era: creasing, surface wear and corner wear. The image of a so young Babe Ruth pitching in a Boston Red Sox uniform retains good contrast and is not bad at all. The back happens to be rather clean. On the subject of the back, this is extremely scarce to find on a Babe Ruth Rookie Card. According to VCP, there has not been a public sale of a Weil Baking Ruth Rookie since 2015. As for the population report, THIS IS THE ONLY EXAMPLE ON THE PSA POPULATION REPORT. Who wants to own something truly, truly great that no one else? An important card given the player and the back, this is a remarkable and historic card.
