Neat, offered is a spotless half page TLS on Philadelphia Athletics letterhead. Dated July 15, 1946 this is written to Tom Fleming by Connie Mack. The content reads in part: ...and advise you that Tom Turner considers pitcher Roberts a likely prospect. I would appreciate your sending him into Shibe Park, sometime after the close of the Northern League season. The Connie Mack signature is unfortunately secretarial but this is still an interesting item as Robin Roberts became a beloved HOFer for the Phillies (perhaps Macks advise was not followed!).
