2025 Fall Classic

A great story, this was consigned by a neighbor of Lou Gehrig in Weschester, NY from way back when. Gehrig was famously frugal, unlike his teammate Mr. Ruth. This business card is apparently for the realtor from whom Gehrig bought a house for his mother! The autograph is in flawless black fountain pen ink and looks great. Ideal for slabbing, this could well grade a Mint 9. Also included is a Jack Dempsey signed business card from the same era. Great lot. JSA LOA (full) for both items.
