Pepper Martin is a cult favorite player, one of the most popular of the beloved 1930s Gashouse Gang St. Louis Cardinals. Martin died in 1965 and is a tough autograph, he is extremely scarce and desirable when found on a period gum card. Freshly slabbed, the offered card has good color, a nice front and mild damage to the reverse. Martin signed this at the lower left corner in pencil, this is a pleasing signature.
