A great Ruth-Gehrig 1930s Yankee team signed ball, the offered lot is a mildly toned but clean Babe Ruth Home Run Special vintage ball. The ball has been signed by 23 members of this team. The keys include a very nice Babe Ruth signature on the sweet spot and a pleasing Gehrig in his usual spot on the side panel. The other keys include Pennock, Lazzeri, McCarthy (ch), Gomez, Eddie Farrell, Dickey, Ruffing, Crosetti, Johnny Allen, Arthur Fletcher (ch), Joe Sewell and Earle Combs. There are an amazing nine different HOFers on this team ball! Please note Johnny Broaca is on the ball, who did not play in 1933, but given that Joe Sewell did not play in 1934, we believe this to be a 1933 (possibly signed in spring training). Yankee team balls of this quality and significance have been selling for huge prices in recent years. Our consignor purchased this from us back in 2010, this has been complete off the market for fourteen years! Who wants to add a truly great signed baseball to their collection? JSA LOA (full).
