One of the great early 20th century cabinet issues, these are just so scarce and hardly ever come to market. Freshly slabbed by PSA, this is a terrific card of a the beloved and one-and-only Christy Mathewson. The larger format of the card affords a wonderfully detailed image of Matty's classic pitching pose. The card has good color and nice display value, some general wear on the front is present, along with creasing, the corners are not bad at all. The back also has some general wear, but displays well overall. A card that hardly ever comes to market, this was obtained from us decades ago and has been unknown to the hobby until now. Great card.
