One of the great early 20th century cabinet issues, these are just so scarce and hardly ever come to market. Freshly slabbed by PSA, this is a terrific card of a widely collected player that hardly anyone else has. The front offers a very attractive large color image of Lajoie's classic batting pose; there is some light creasing, the corner wear is not bad at all. The back displays well but has a slight scrape at the top border (and some other wear) that led to the 1 grade. This is a fine looking card for the grade, no doubt it will find a very happy home in the auction!
