One of the most interesting and desirable cards in this great set, this is one of so few single cards of Jim Thorpe. One of the top athletes of the 20th century, his cards are revered by collectors. Freshly graded at the National, PSA rated this a rather conservative 2.5. The card has a perfect image and clean surfaces. The card is reasonably well centered, the back is blank. The corners show moderate and consistent wear, it is not bad at all. There is hardly any creasing, almost all of us would grade this a VG 3.
