Only Mickey Mantle's second-year card, these seem so undervalued, especially in higher grades in today's market. Often found with centering and print issues, the offered lot is a beautiful Near Mint 7. Well centered with four strong corners, the borders are white, the color is superb. There are no print lines, the back is perfectly clean. While of course not of the stature of his 1952 Topps card, nonetheless smart buyers having been scooping these up in the event of future appreciation. As of this writing (Dec 2022), the offered card is far superior in terms of centering to all of the recent comps. Simply a beautiful example of this key early Mantle card, no doubt this lot will find a very happy home!
