Offered is a 1966 Detroit Tigers team-signed photograph of Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Florida. The 66 Tigers were a team on the rise, putting together a squad that would go 88-74 that season, good for 3rd place in the American League. With essentially the same players as the 66 team, the 1968 Detroit Tigers became World Champions. In 1966, the Tigers new spring training stadium had its dedication on March 12, 1966, and a unknown hand used a pen to write, Dedication of Marchart Stadium/March 12, 1966 on the lower part of the photo. The Tigers still hold spring training at the aforementioned stadium, now known as Publix Field Marchant Stadium. The offered photo has been signed in ink by over 40 Detroit Tigers players and staff. The signed photo measures 10.75 x 13.75, matted and framed to 18.25 x 22.25. Hall of Famer: Al Kaline. Stars: Denny McLain, Willie Horton, Don Wert, Norm Cash, Dick McAuliffe, Mickey Stanley, Jim Northrup, Bill Freehan, and Gates Brown. Plus, Chuck Dressen (the first of three Tiger managers that season), and Tigers general manager Jim Campbell. Also, Jerry Lumpe, Hank Aguirre, Orlando Pena, Ray Oyler, Orlando McFarlane, Bill Monbouquette, Julio Navarro, John Hiller and many more. The signatures are ink that has faded from the passage of time, but still clearly legible. Overall, the Tiger team-signed photo is in nice condition
