One of my personal favorite 1960s Topps sets, this is such a nicely designed set. Offered is a colorful but varied condition mid-grade set. With a fair amount of condition variance, the set looks to be perhaps 60% VG-Ex or better, the balance ranges from VG to VG Plus with a few weaker. The high numbers are not bad at all. As with so many sets, the commons and secondary stars appear to be a full grade better than most of the keys. We rate the key cards as follows: 148 Yaz RC VG+ ctd, 160 Mantle/Boyer VG+, 200 Mays Ex, 250 Musial VG-Ex/Ex, 300 Aaron VG, 316 McCovey RC VG+ ctd, 326 Clemente Ex+, 332 Yankees TC VG-Ex/Ex, 343 Koufax VG-Ex/Ex, 350 Mantle VG, 377 Maris VG, 480 Berra VG, 563 Mantle AS Good, 564 Mays AS VG+, 565 Maris AS VG, 566 Aaron AS Ex.
