One of the rarest of all New York Yankee Team Signed Balls, these hardly ever come to market. This was the final Yankee team to lose to the rival New York Giants in the World Series (1923 was the beginning of their historic dynasty). The offered ball is a toned OAL Ban Johnson model. There are 24 total signatures on the ball, they vary in darkness but are pretty nice overall to our eyes. The ball has two Babe Ruth autographs, but one is secretarial. The other signatures include HOFer Frank Home Run Baker, Bibb Falk, Irish Meusel, Lefty O'Doul, Wally Pipp, Everett Scott and Bob Shawkey. In a great touch, Babe Ruth wrote March 27 - 22 in his own hand below his signature, something we have never seen before. Great ball! JSA LOA (full).
