Listing Details

One of the most interesting and exciting pieces of memorabilia that we have handled, offered is a complete original 1939 Joe Cronin road flannel jersey. Cronin played from 1926 - 1945 and was a HOF shortstop and a future President of the American League. A baseball fixture for over 50 years, anything used by him in a game is very desirable. Graded Mint 9 by MEARS, this is consigned by the original owner and is completely fresh to the hobby. This is an absolutely gorgeous and truly museum worthy piece of baseball history. As a note, Cronin was an All Star in 1939 and was 16th in MVP voting as well. A great, great piece, this is worthy of the finest collections in the hobby.
