Perhaps the most iconic baseball card ever produced, there is always something magical about the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle. The ultimate Topps baseball card, this is the key card in so many collections. In recent years, these have absolutely exploded in demand and therefore price, higher grade examples in particular do not come around very often. Offered is a simply gorgeous card that was freshly graded at this year s National Convention. A beautiful card, this has absolutely gorgeous deep blue color and as nice an image as you will find on any example of this card, including an 8. The corners all come to very solid points, the borders are bright white. The back is perfect. Centered mildly to the upper right corner, we feel strongly that this card would have been graded a Near Mint 7 a few years ago, the Ex-Mt grade here is EXTREMELY CONSERVATIVE. Simply a wonder to hold in hand, this card could convert even the most die-hard modern refractor and 1/1 collector to a high grade 1952 Topps set collector. One of those cards that is just truly special and wonderful to hold in-hand, the winning bidder should absolutely love this stunningly nice card for the grade.
